Mary Ann Weeks Aveda Ayurvedic Christmas Recipe Creamy Fudge with Almond, Coconut & Sea-salt

Try this deliciously creamy and easy whole food treat, with rich almond and sweet coconut. Sea-salt adds texture and kick with ginger and cinnamon tones for depth and warmth.

We tend to crave sweeter and fatty foods as the body prepares for the colder months and we need proteins and carbs to equip the body to fight against winter bugs. Cinnamon and ginger are both known to improve absorption as well as digestion, as well as keeping the metabolism healthy. Cinnamon is a known spice for helping to regulate blood sugar levels. Healthy fats, fibre and protein means this fudge is not only yummy but also genuinely good for you!

Prep time is just 5 minutes!


¼ cup of Almond Butter

¼ tsp cinnamon

1Tbsp Coconut Oil

¼ tsp ginger (powdered)

1 Tbsp Honey

Pinch of sea salt

Optional: Add cacao nibs for a more crunchy chocolate variation. Also you can dust with cocoa powder, or try pressing toasted chopped almonds to the top of a few of your fudge squares.


  1. Place all your ingredients in a large bowl and use a fork to mash them thoroughly together
  2. Press the mixture into a square baking tray
  3. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes for softer consistency or longer if you prefer hard fudge
